NGO and Academics in collaboration for Peace and Development- tell us your stories

We’re involved in a new project funded by the Development Studies Association of the UK and implemented jointly by INTRAC, World Vision and the University of Bradford (JEFCAS).

We want to explore partnerships for research on Peace and Development that involved NGOs and Academics. When did they work best and when do they stimulate real action and change?  We are often being encouraged to work in partnership but partnerships can be undermined by competing incentives and different measures of success.  We want to hear your experiences- please come and join us on the ‘cracking collaboration’ facebook group by clicking here.

You can find an overview of the project overview here

  1. I am interested in individuals and institutions for possible research/NGO collaboration. I have registered an NGO with a focus on poverty and improved livelihoods in rural communities. Can I be linked with possible collaborators?
